This site is about what I learn building systems with AI. Besides my own systems, I take on a few projects a year with organisations. I work from Santiago, Chile.

Applied AI in operations
Agents that answer on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger and take real actions, behind deterministic guardrails the model can’t get around. Reports that build themselves from data the organisation already has. A map of an organisation’s data sources with a prioritised roadmap. I have systems like these in production today in hospitality and in education.
Agentic coding and architecture
Helping a software team adopt agentic coding with permissions, observability and metrics, and not only licences. Reviewing the architecture of systems that have to hold up.
The permission layer I use is open source: seisin.
A coffee
If you work on architecture or AI, or just want to know more and see how it could fit in your organisation, we can have a coffee and compare notes. You don’t need to be from the field.
How I work
- I build on the platforms the organisation already uses.
- What I build is documented and can be run without me.
- Recurring costs (APIs, infrastructure, licences) are identified separately before we start.
- I use AI where it is justified, and I keep deterministic whatever can be deterministic.
- With personal data I use only what is needed, and I handle it in the design.
- The code, the repository and the accounts are in the organisation’s name from day one.
- The work is split into stages, and each stage is paid when it is delivered and tested.
- I use agents to write code; what goes to production I review myself.
What I don’t do
I don’t train models from scratch or do deep learning research. I don’t leave behind systems only I can maintain.
